Abhay is a Master Mariner and Associate Director in the Miami office with over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of shipping business, including technical management, finance and commercial management.

He sailed on board various types of vessels up to 300,000 tonnes deadweight and has held senior positions in companies specialising in ship management, vessel inspections, project management and management consulting.

He has extensive experience in casualty handling and investigations including salvage, groundings and collisions, as well as in hull and machinery matters, including ship repairs and steel renewals. Abhay has also acted as marine warranty surveyor and client marine assurance representative on a number of offshore projects.

Wolf is a Marine Engineer and Associate in LOC’s Miami office. He has a broad-based maritime background and served in all engineering ranks up to Chief Engineer on a variety of both steam and motor vessels.

At LOC, he has been predominantly involved in investigating and advising on hull and machinery damages and claims, and he has particular expertise in diesel engines for marine propulsion and power generation.

Prior to LOC, Wolf held various positions of technical and commercial responsibility with the German engine manufacturer MAN, and was deeply involved in the development of marine power plants for ice breaking vessels for the Canadian Arctic. He is also experienced in ship construction and has served as owner’s or engine manufacturer’s representative in a number of construction projects.

Paul is a Master Mariner and Associate Director with LOC Miami. He has over 30 years’ seagoing experience, the last 15 years being in command of capesize bulk carriers, container vessels, heavy lift/multi-purpose vessels and seismic survey vessels.

Paul is an appointed Special Casualty Representative (SCR) at Lloyd’s, and since joining LOC in 2005 has been engaged on a variety of marine casualty work; in particular major salvage and wreck removal operations worldwide.
He has also prepared expert reports on total losses, groundings, unsafe berths, bulk carriers and cargoes and container loss claims. He has also acted as marine warranty surveyor for various heavy lift operations.

Paul is a Fellow of the Nautical Institute, an Associate Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and has contributed written papers, lectures and seminars to the industry in a variety of subjects.
