In 2011 LOC Shenzhen was established to meet the current demands of the South China Sea, as exploration activities continue to yield positive oil and gas results. The office is located next door to CNOOC’s Shenzhen office as well as being close south China’s fabrication yards.

Donny Ng

Donny is the General Manager of LOC’s offices in China. He is a naval architect specialising in providing consultancy and engineering services for various marine and offshore operations, mainly loadout, seafastening and transportation. He has been involved in several tie-down transportation designs of offshore structures such as jackets, decks, flare booms, conductors, piles and linepipes. Donny has undertaken several dynamic motion studies, mooring analysis projects, and independent verification work and has substantial knowledge in both intact and damage stability. He is also very much involved in offshore marine warranty survey work with experience in design review, seafastening design and vessel survey work.
