LOC is recognized as one of the world’s leading companies in marine warranty surveys, which consists of providing independent third party review and approval of the planning, design and execution of high value / high risk marine construction and transportation operations (marine operations) on behalf of underwriters and their assureds, and for self insured parties.
We have undertaken MWS jobs and projects in every conceivable marine environment, and, in the offshore energy industry, on deepwater projects developed in water depths approaching 3,000m (10,000ft).
Our strategically located global network of offices allows us to provide efficient and cost effective warranty survey services for major offshore energy projects utilising multiple international suppliers, as well as appropriate regional response for marine operations in other fields, such as maritime civil engineering or the towage of decommissioned or damaged vessels to scrapping facilities.
We have our own “Guidelines for Marine Operations” to assist clients and their contractors in understanding our MWS requirements, and we utilise state of the art web based technology to manage our multi-country, multi-office projects in real time.
